Siberian Life: Language & Culture 2021
From February 4th - 5th 2021, the Institute of Finno-Ugric and Uralic Studies will host a workshop on the ethnolinguistics of Northern Siberian indigenous languages and peoples.
The aim of the workshop is to explore the rather young disciplines and subfields of ethnolinguistics and anthropological linguistics as well as bring together scholars associated with these disciplines. The workshop addresses all scholars working within linguistics, anthropology and ethnology and presents an opportunity to share knowledge and experience. We welcome papers from all fields mentioned above. Presentations on cultural effects on grammar are especially appreciated.
