Library

The Institute of English and American Studies includes a reference library with a broad range of print and non-print resources—among others, numerous primary and secondary sources from the fields of literature, linguistics, and language acquisition. Furthermore, the library hosts the Media and Communication Studies library, the Scandinavian Studies library, and the library of the Arbeitsstelle Studium und Beruf (AStuB, studies and careers working group)

Please be prepared to show your passport to the RRZ staff. If you cannot provide proof of identity, the STiNE staff is not authorized to issue a new password or new TAN list. eLearning / AGORA

Universität Hamburg and the IAA provide eLearning facilities. These enable you to learn whenever you feel like it—free from any time or space constraints.

Information technology

Please contact the IT working group for any queries concerning technical facilities in the Departments of Languages, Literature and Media I and II (Sprache, Literatur und Medien SLM I and II).

Science communication

The science communication is your contact for questions about the websites and public relations whithin the Departments of Languages, Literature and Media I + II (Sprache, Literatur und Medien SLM I + II).

Computerpools

Our computer pools provide Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh work spaces complete with scanners and printers.

Media Center SLM

The Media Center staff oversees the media labs of the Departments SLM I and II and the media archive. You can also borrow media equipment.
