Acronyms and abbreviations of IAA course and lecture locations:

  • ESA: Main Building of Universität Hamburg, Edmund-Siemers-Allee 1
  • ESA East/ ESA West: East and West Wing of the Main Building
  • MZ: Media Center, Von-Melle-Park 5
  • Phil: Philosophenturm (PhilTurm), Von-Melle-Park 6
  • Phil A, B, C, D, E, F, G: lecture halls in the PhilTurm, Von-Melle-Park 6, Ground Floor
  • The first and second figure of each Phil Room number indicate the floor where the room is located whereas the last three figures refer to the room itself and the letters refer to the corridor, e.g., Room Phil C 1003, is located on the first floor, corridor C, Room Phil B 10003 indicates to an office on the tenth floor, corridor B, and A 10005 is a classroom on corridor A (behind the elevators).
  • PI: lecture hall in the building of Faculty of Education, Von-Melle-Park 8
  • Sed: off-campus seminar rooms on Sedanstraße 19
  • WiWi: seminar rooms in the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences, Von-Melle-Park 5
