Save the date: Prize-giving ceremony of the Amerikanistikpreis

After a three-year-interval (due to Corona measures), there will be the prize-giving ceremony of the Amerikanistikpreis on Friday, November 1, 2024, at 7 p.m. in lecture hall 221, ESA 1 West. The prize is assigned for the best BA and MA-thesis of the past three years. After the prize-giving ceremony there will be a celebration. For this year's prize-giving, there have been six outstanding nominees.

The ceremony has been prepared in cooperation with the Amerikazentrum. Consul General Jason Chue of the U.S. Consulate General in Hamburg will hold a welcoming speech, and the ceremony will be framed by a jazz performance. All welcome.
