Reading and Conversation with Lucy Caldwell: Narrating the Female Body

On Tuesday, 25 November 2025, the award-winning Northern Irish author Lucy Caldwell will visit the Institute of English and American Studies at the University of Hamburg as part of an Irish Itinerary event. Lucy Caldwell is one of the leading voices in contemporary Irish literature. Her novel These Days won the Walter Scott Prize for Historical Fiction in 2023, and her short stories have been honoured with, among others, the BBC National Short Story Award.
