The MA students of British and American Cultures are hosting an interactive multimedia exhibition in the context of their project seminar. The exhibition titled "Transgressing Spheres: Subversive Femininities in the 19th Century" will take place on January 29th, 2026, at 6pm on the 10th floor of the Philturm. It is dedicated to British and American female authors of the 19th century. Their project explores the dichotomies of different representations of femininity and heteronormative narratives. The individual projects presented take on diverse forms, including painting, collage, a video essay and interactive staging.
