New publication: Clause Linkage in the Languages of the Ob-Yenisei Area

Edited by Anja Behnke and Beáta Wagner-Nagy, this volume brings together nine contributions dealing with sentence linking. The focus here is on asyndetic constructions, which have been little researched in the Ob-Jenissei region.

The approaches are in-depth studies of individual languages and are mostly based on original data obtained in recent field research or from corpora. (Many of the contributions use data from the INEL corpora!) Differences can be observed, for example, in a more verbal or nominal use of converbs, which play an important role in sentence linking strategies.
