Veranstaltungen im Sommersemster 2019

Im kommenden Sommersemster werden zwei weitere Veranstaltungen zum Thema Ungarn angeboten:
A) Contemporary Hungarian Society
The course offers an overview of Hungarian culture, literature, music, film and contemporary society. The course focuses on the language usage in contemporary Hungarian literature and vocal music. The aim of the course is to present the literary and cinematographic works of Hungarian culture and society and to introduce its symbols to the students. In addition, the course provides an opportunity to discuss the current issues of Hungarian society.
During the course the students make a presentation on a choosen topic.
Requirements: active participation (max 3 absences), presentation (about 20 minutes)

B) Minorities in Hungary
The aim of the course is to introduce the 13 nationalities living in Hungary (Bulgarian, Gypsy, Greek, Croatian, Polish, German, Armenian, Romanian, Ruthenian, Serbian, Slovak, Slovenian, Ukrainian). During the seminar, students can gain insight to Hungarian language policy, the rights and laws concerning minority language use. In addition, the course introduces the institutions belonging to minorities in Hungary, as well as their traditions, customs and national costumes.
During the semester students have to carry out individual research on a choosen nationality and present it in 15-20 minutes.
