Workshop Transnational Media Histories
29. August 2018, von IMK
Transnational Media Histories
"Transnational Media Histories" brings together media and communication researchers from Sydney, Shanghai and Hamburg. The international workshop on 12 and 13 September 2018 discusses what has been achieved in the field of transnationally entangled media history since 2015 when the Centre for Media History at Macquarie University in Sydney and the Research Centre Media History at Universität Hamburg / Institut für Medien und Kommunikation and Hans-Bredow-Institute for Media Research started a cooperation within the Trilateral Strategic Partnership MQ-FU-HAM.
The 2-day-venue at Universität Hamburg also focuses on the emerging field of 'communicating port cities' which will be at the heart of collaborative work in 2019 and 2020, along with colleagues from the Center for Information and Communication Studies at Fudan University in Shanghai, China.
See the programme of the workshop (www.uni-hamburg.de/mq-fu-ham-network).
